2012 Caloundra surf festival

The annual Pa and Ma Bendall surfing competition became a proper surf festival this year in Caloundra. Some of the best riders from Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and around competed on beautiful clean waves at Moffat beach. Wade Goodall won the open division with crazy good moves despite his recent leg injury and surgery. In his home town, in front of his friends, he flyed over sections and carved deeply around the curl. Fred and Lily paddled out the back for a tandem exhibition. Thanks to the Wind and Sea Surf Club for this cool local event, we will be there next year =) !
